Banaras
As Tarun said , it is not the movie Pankaj Parasher intended to make…and that’s a compliment. The surprising thing was that a week later pa and I are still talking about it. That’s why I decided that its definitely worth a mention.
There are lots of things wrong with the movie - the cast, the screenplay, the camera angles, the emoting. But usually, thats not what i like to talk about. According to me, its getting things right that is the difficult part, so we concentrate on that. There are two things right - a) Banaras and b) the ultimate funda that ' jo saral hai wahi satya hai'
The concept of the movie is brilliant.The sheer bravery of the character dazzles you. The simplicity of thought process of going about life leaves you pondering about all that you do wrong and how!

if you got even the smallest message out of the movie about the 'simple' truth of life then great!! but to me this movie is much much more
its a layered movie with hidden codes like the da vinci code.
its all lifes philosphies put in the simplest way for people to understand
its a holy book!
it teaches you about eternal life,destiny
its a spiritual experience its not a movie
and if you dont want to watch it for the spiritual message i cant understand why people miss the social-human message
and in the end what is more important :how rigid ashmit patel looks in front of the camera or the message about 'life' it gives you
